I'm absolutely over the moon with my Dreambox (or 'Doris' as she is now affectionately known as in our house). She has comfortably stored all my craft materials (and then some!) and has allowed me to organise my stash so that I'm never looking for the tools I need when working on a project. This is the best craft investment I've made for myself and highly recommend to anybody thinking of taking the plunge.

It arrive in it big crate all safely packaged. It went together quite easily and is extremely sturdy, am finding plenty of space for all my stash of crafting materials.

It took a while to come but I absolutely love it! It fit a lot more stuff than I expected and I feel so organised now. There was a bit missing but Morag was Brilliant and sent it straight away, she was lovely to deal with.

It was a long wait, and after receiving a wrong shelf at first and delay in sending the replacing shelf, it was solved nicely. Very happy with the dreambox, all my stuff in one place. Reactions from friends: wow, cool, etc.

I actually didn't believe a DreamBox could hold all my stuff and I was a bit annoyed that I had neither room not money to spend on two DBs. I ordered one, and luckily, because it is absolutely amazing how much it holds All my stuff is inside, and I do a lot of dressmaking, knitting and crochet, different kind of embroidery and more, and now everything is at hand, I do so enjoy opening my DB to get what I need, it's so easy. I love it!

I did have to wait quite a while for delivery, 9 months to be exact, but it has been worth the wait! I absolutely love my box, I love everything being in the one place and I especially love being so organised. It has got my creative juices flowing again after a long hiatus. The box is everything I dreamed it would be and more!

I love the actual product but hate the wait!!
I was told when placing my order that it takes 13 - 16 weeks!
I placed my order in March and received it end Sep!!
One thing that i know before that it will take so long but in this case I was the one emailing to see where its up to - you should have been the ones to inform us on the order progress!
And lastly when it did arrive, there was an item missing! This got me really nervous!
How much longer do i need to wait?!
I could have built one myself with IKEA cupboards....
Would think before advising a friend to buy one.... i.e. if she has a half year to wait then maybe i will advise her to get one.

I waited, some months not so patiently, for my DreamBox. I have wanted one since it was called the Original Scrapbox, so for over 30 yrs.
when I ordered in November 2020, I did not think that it would not be delivered for 9 months, thanks to COVID-19 and all the heartbreak that brings.
But I can honestly say that I love it. It is better in real life than what you see on the website and perhaps that is because it becomes very personal when you start to fill it. I didn’t realise that I had bought doubles of some things prior to having my DB.
It makes me excited to craft as I know where my crafts are and it inspires me when I open the doors.
Thank you so so much create room. I couldn’t do without my DB now

It brought tears to my eyes to see all my mail supplies finally organised and at my reach. The Dreambox is amazing and beautiful. I have mine in a log cabin in my garden. She is the perfect. Love it !

The dream box has taken my dining room, which was little used, and transformed it into a truly multifunctional space. I can study, craft and host a dinner, all in one room, in a tiny 2-bed terrace with limited storage space. I am able to store all of my household and study paperwork along with all my craft supplies, hiding them neatly out of the way when I entertain, then spreading them out on the table and side tables when using. This truly has transformed the room from a space where things just got dumped into a versatile and much used beautiful room.
I built the unit on my own, with just a little lifting help from my neighbour, the instructions were clear and easy to follow and I was able to format the shelves and totes that worked for my items and hobby materials.
I love it, it is the best in investment I have made after buying the house itself.

I am extremely pleased with this. It’s just great to have everything at ones finger tips instead of trying to grab a box from the top shelf because I changed my mind with a card design. I am looking into getting another one for all my other crafts.

When I recived it and my husband unpacked and put it together. Mind you my husband is a qualified joiner/carpenter. And noticed on the crown on the left side was damaged and had been repaired before we recived it. Then he had to drill two new holes for bolts to hold the table up. Because the original holes in wrong place.. the last thing I'm not happy about was I paid in full and was told to join the family as it was their birthday and I could get it FREE. Well I did all that and how surprising I never got the £300.00 of so I want happy. I had waited over 3months for this and it shouldn't have had damage it didn't happen on your side before it was packed and whoever repaired it knew all about it and never said anything till we put it together. That wasnt very nice. and then drilling new holes in it...

I love how easy it was to put together, the instructions were precise and easy to follow.
One very happy crafter, having everything to hand is perfect! I think it has only been closed away twice in 6 weeks. Would recommend to anyone.

The idea and usability of the product is fantastic. However, the materials seem low quality. It is out of tune with the rest of the furniture in my house (and they are not expensive furniture, they are from an ikea).

Should have come with a warning not to be attempted by ill or elderly couples.
Wish I had know that we could have got it pre built. Also no warning before truck arrived to deliver in Aberdeen Scotland less than forty eight hours after shipment from Utah.( very good )
Some parts very strong but dividers pretty flimsy also plastic clips for shelves are a pain to fit. Also problem with magnets not strong enough to keep doors open.
I have assembled many things in my life but struggled with this one.
Now assembled but not sorted out inside yet photo will follow later on.

Wow, what can I say Jyst buy it!
I'm in the UK, received my DreamBox, all perfectly intact, every bolt, screw and all the fixings 100% there. All the holes in the right place.
It took my skilled carpenters (team of 2)
7 hours to put together, didnt trust hubbins to do this!
It's a very sturdy, well made piece of equipment, not cheap wood, all the totes are high quality and again, very robust.
I know the initial outlay £ is a lot to start with but, when you consider that a decent piece of furniture would cost £5/600 per piece minimum, it makes total sense. I had several pieces which amouted to way over £2k so this was just perfect.
I only have 1, very minor negative, the two edges of the table are sharp and my son scraped his arm, I have now purchased two corner protecters, so job done. This is a tiny problem that could be rectified so easily in manufacture, to make them slightly more rounded edges.
I couldn't recommend this highly enough 5*****

magnifique armoire dans laquelle j'ai pu enfin ranger la quasi totalité de mon matériel.
Elle est pratique, bien conçue et ne prend pas beaucoup de place. J'ai rangé à l'intérieur l'équivalent de 15 m3 de boites et caisses diverses moins adaptées.

My Dream Box arrived 9 weeks after it was ordered so I was getting a little concerned about this however it arrived in one big box ! Happy day indeed.
The instructions were emailed to me prior to delivery so we had time to study and were ready to go once the lid was opened. Everything was beautifully packaged and clearly labelled. The assembling went well and everything fitted perfectly however the pins for holding the shelves caused frustration. I emailed Morag and she sent two videos which were a great help. The little tool included for using was the only thing that really did not work. It says you can fit the little plastic holders on either side of the divider but as yet we have not managed to achieve this. I am now at the stage of getting the contents organised - this is a great chance to review and reorganise my crafting world.

This was a really big buy for me and I decided to get it instead of building a home studio, be prepared it is BIG! I live in the UK and for us our space is not as generous as out US counterparts. Once it was built I did have some regret due to the size but now I am using it I love it.
One thing for me is the UK customer service is not as good as the US/Germany. They have a call line for them but for us in the UK its an email address which they do not reply to! I would like to personally thank Morag who reached out to me via Instagram to solve my post installation issues. It is also frustrating that some of the add on items for the US are not available to us over the pond! Also, the hole for the wires to go out the back is very US orientated and a UK 3 pin plug doesn't fit, please make these bigger!
For me the main frustration was the instructions, pre-delivery I was send a whole 67 booklet which we used to start with, only to find that the instructions included in the delivery had been updated and were different. There were also a few elements which noted pilot holes which weren't there. I have since clarified this with Morag, but do feel the instructions need to clear this up (in reference to the Open Swing
Door Catch).
Another thing with the instructions, when you start to put the shelf pegs in (hardest thing to install!) it gives you the instructions for the extra bin set up which I didn't go for and then once it was built I had all these extra pins which were very hard to get out. From what I can see you cannot buy the extra shelves and bins as an add on, so this was pointless for me. Also the pins are quite flimsy and when I put the shelves in, which needed a good pull, I lost quite a few. Also another tip, if you are putting two pins in back to back, make sure there is no excess plastic on them. I had to trim a few to get them to fit together.
I really love that it came with a bottle of touch up paint and it is a really lovely, well built piece and I love using it. I do think the instructions need a bit of clarity as this was the most frustrating part!
Again Morag has been wonderful and has issued me a replacement for the faulty parts I have, it's a shame no-one has ever answered my email from customer services.

I was looking at the original ScrapBox around 6 years ago, which must have been very early days in the company history. However, I had not long broken my wrist and needed surgery to repair the damage so I thought I would treat myself when I had recovered.
Unfortunately the surgery didn’t go to plan and I was left needing further surgery and permanent damage to my wrist and hand with nerve damage and chronic pain, and very limited control and feeling of my fingers. This disability sent me in to a program of rehabilitation (which still continues today) to learn to dress myself, do up buttons, hold a cup and even to learn to write again, all of which I am still learning to do. I never thought I would be able to have such a beautiful piece of furniture in a craft room that I was never going to be able to use again. My craft room stayed closed up for some 5 years until now.
I contacted the support team (thank you Morag), asked a few questions and they even applied the military discount for me as soon as my order was completed. During this worldwide pandemic, my husband convinced me to try and do some crafting again after working from home all day, said this could be a long situation so I should try, and if I was to purchase a Dreambox it would be a happier place to learn again, so we did.
It arrived on my husband’s day off work (he is a key worker so continues as normal) and he single-handily built it for me in between cooking dinners, cleaning, and helping me dress, with my only contribution of passing the correct parts and a few evenings later it was built.
Now I have my craft room fully functional, it is a joy to open up my Dreambox and sit at the table to craft. I started with a congratulations card for my cousin and his wife’s new baby, along with a plaque which I am so proud of. Thank you so much for creating this product, it makes me smile just seeing it in the room, so I am calm and happy. A great mindset and place to learn to craft again, it may seem silly to think a piece of furniture can change someone’s life so much, but it truly has. Thank you CreateRoom, my journey to crafting is back on track and I couldn’t be happier with my Dreambox!
